Open Positions:

Structural Engineer

Job Summary:

SMJ International is looking for a full-time, structural engineer with experience within the telecommunications industry. In this position, the candidate will report to the Senior Structural Engineer and assimilate into our production team. They will be responsible for reviewing structural analyses for the team's production engineers, while secondarily completing structural analyses and modifications of telecommunications equipment supporting structures, including antenna mounts. The candidate will also be required to respond to structural questions generated from internal and external clients, manage outside vendors, and assist with verification and development of technical tools and procedures.

Qualifications: 

  • Telecommunication industry experience.
  • Proficiency with TNX Tower preferred.
  • Proficiency with RISA 3-D required.
  • Proficiency and Knowledge of ANSI/TIA-222 standards required.
